Artificial Intelligence

Our most difficult problem solving for customers involves algorithm development to predict the best possible outcomes of any situation. This approach is now commonly known as AI, and Goodtech have been using this methodology for years! Implementing AI in a production facility can bring several benefits to optimizing production.

 Increased Efficiency:

AI can analyze large amounts of data and identify patterns to optimize production processes. It can automate repetitive tasks, reduce errors, and improve overall efficiency.

Predictive Maintenance:

AI can use sensor data and machine learning algorithms to predict equipment failures and schedule maintenance proactively. This helps in minimizing downtime and optimizing maintenance schedules.

Quality Control:

AI can analyze real-time data from production processes and identify defects or anomalies. It can automatically detect and reject faulty products, ensuring higher quality control and reducing waste.

Don’t just take our word for it. Here are two customer cases to whom Goodtech has introduced AI successfully:

Customer 1 - Reduced need for personnel

A customer within cable production uses AI algorithms in their regulation process to get a more precise output. The solution enables them to find parameters for regulation on "all" the products they make. The aim here is to achieve precise regulation to avoid damage to the end product and to make the process completely automatic. The solution reduces the risk of the operator falling asleep on the night shift resulting in a damaged products. The solution will not require monitoring by a person, thus reducing the need for personnel.

Customer 2 - Improved productivity and enhanced quality

Customer 2 uses AI for creating a detailed and optimal production plan for the factory, by simulating the production ahead in time to solve logistics at the factory. It starts with what is to be produced, divides into work tasks, finds places where the tasks can be carried out in the factory, and then delegates robots, tools and people to the jobs.

The optimized plan can be used to execute the production and is a solution for where, when and in what order, the jobs are to be carried out. It will reduce time spent both in creating a plan, and in that the plan is optimized so that production can go as quickly.

Implementing AI in a production facility can lead to improved productivity, reduced costs, higher quality products, and a more agile and competitive manufacturing operation.
